Human Male Reproductive System

As we start with the third chapter of our syllabus we will cover the following Learning Outcomes :-
Students will be able to :-
1) Draw & Explain parts of Male Reproductive System.
2) List functions of Accesory ducts & glands in  male reproductive system.
3) Define testis, Epididymis, vas deferens, vasa efferentia, Rete testis.

BASIC STEPS IN HUMAN REPRODUCTION

i. Gametogenesis
ii. Insemination
iii. Fertilization
iv. Blastocyst Development.
v. Implantation
vi. Embryo Development.
vii. Parturition

 Today we will discuss in detail the Male Reproductive System. Kindly write your notes in your register. I will be available on blog for doubts clarification.

For the homework task, kindly answer the following questions in your Register:-

1) Why are the human testis located outside the abdominal cavity? Name the pouch in which they are present?   
2) a) Write the specific location & functions of the following cells in human males -
i. Leydig cells
ii. Sertoli cells
III. Primary Spermatocytes.

b) Explain the role of any two accessory glands in human Male reproductive system?
